This is my masters film in architecture. It illustrates the concept of a ‘downloaded architecture’, where everything is a simulation, from your clothes to the environment, and even your pets, as we turn into a ‘glocolised world’

World Web Cover Feature.

FACTORY FIFTEEN Launch Party & Film Screening at Brixton Village. Robots of Brixton was certainly the highlight. Great atmosphere and appreciation for the films despite security trying to close Brixton Village before the end.

A few friends and I are setting up a film and animation company called FACTORY FIFTEEN. We are having a interesting launch in Brixton Village Market on the 25th of June from 7pm, We will be playing 6 of our new films, including ‘ROBOTS OF BRIXTON’ along with the sequel to THE GOLDEN AGE, (nominated for best film in CG Architect Awards 2011). booze and music all round. ..

Pastness Projection is a film about the notion of nostalgia, of fragmented memories and forgotten objects and spaces. The film plays on the frustration of the character as he can’t quite remember, remember something, something important to him, in the cyclical representation within the carefully constructed designed space.

PORTFOLIO
This year I have made my portfolio in 7 chapters containing the 7 sectors to this years work I have made, rather then combining it into one. The a3 booklets are dry mounted with colored strips representing the different projects and the titles on the spine. Once I make the box to go with it the spines and the colored strips will be visible from the front in quite a neat way. All covers are dry mounted and perfect bound.

Unfortunately the last project is nothing in comparison to what it could have been had i not had the catastrophic hard drive failure recently. Many drawings and technical information about how the film was constructed was lost, as well as all model files and composites. But I have done my best to cobble stuff i stored on the net and the blog to make it look ‘finished’.
